Coming Unglu’d: My Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner (Something for everyone!)

by Colette Bell.

As all the best (in my opinion) food holidays approach, many of us will encounter all types of food issues, allergies, and preferences. I’m putting together my dream dinner including recipes that are ALL gluten-free (it IS my dream dinner after all!), and includes some Paleo options and Vegan options as well. Each recipe is labeled accordingly.  Now, this is a recipe roundup, these are not all my original recipes and all links will give credit to the original writer.

Vegan Grain-free Stuffed Mushrooms (V, P, GF)

Paleo Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms (P, GF)

Cheesy Sweet Potato Crisps (P-ish, GF) *not 100% Paleo as it contains cheese

Chorizo-Crab Stuffed Calamari Recipe (P, GF) *The first Thanksgiving consisted mostly of seafood (as that’s what was available), so this app is my homage to that.

*I’m completely torn between these 2 turkey options:

Organic Roast Turkey with Sage Butter (P, GF)

Bacon and Herb Roasted Turkey Breast (P, GF)

If you’re not a turkey fan, how about Roast Beef?

Roast Beef with Chimichurri Sauce (P, GF)

or Pork?

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin (P, GF)

As always, cook, eat, share & enjoy!

Colette is a wife, mother and entrepreneur of sorts.   Some might call me a “hippy” (my husband included!).  Since finding out she is gluten intolerant, she has been working a start-up business venture, or Adventure if you will, preparing gluten-free meals to order and delivering them throughout her local community.  Along with cooking gluten-free meals, she also enjoys developing a variety of allergen-friendly recipes (and will try to label them as such.)  She made it a bit of a mission to educate people on how to live well and gluten-free and on a tight budget.
