Her passion for food started young, playing dress-up with bologna and olives at dinner and has since matured (at least a little) to frequenting local farmers markets and scouting the web for outrageous recipes. Sasha fears burnt waffles and giant foot shaped puddles, but loves breakfast and dancing in the rain. If her writing career falls through, she thinks becoming a trucker would be the next best thing.
Lianna Lee is a 20-something graduate of Mount Holyoke College where she earned a degree in Environmental Studies. Currently she is serving as an AmeriCorps member with the Wildlands Trust as their Outreach Coordinator. Lee’s 2013 food goals include making gelato, successfully growing tomatoes, and eating a sublime bowl of chowdah.

With the exception of a brief San Francisco stint, Amy MacNeill is a life-long South Shore resident living in Pembroke and a regular reader of edible South Shore. While she stumbled into flower gardening a few years ago, Amy has decided to make the leap to growing vegetables and fruits. Her 3 year old nephew Alex, who lives in Kingston, will be her partner in this adventure. Amy’s goal is to teach him about where food comes from and instill a love of veggies in him – he’s already a fruit fanatic!
